Bar Battle of the Bots – Part Four: Birth of Scorpio

The article discusses a competitive evaluation of AI models, particularly focusing on the latest release, ChatGPT o3, in a series of bot battles. Following previous assessments, where ChatGPT 4o (Omni) was the leading AI, ChatGPT o3, named Scorpio, is now pitted against existing models, including a newer contender, ChatGPT 4.5 (Orion). Scorpio completes a Florida Bar exam essay, showcasing improved legal reasoning and structure, including an executive summary and thorough analysis of contract issues. The author appreciates Scorpio’s performance over Omni’s, predicting its potential for a title shot against Orion, while noting the rapid advancement of AI technology in legal applications.
